have you ever lost a fren or family? in a mall? i did. today. at midvalley. kakni, uyun, sheila and i went for shopping. after a good lunch (korean, first time! wee), kakni went to perform her prayer and left her bag with us and only brought her hp. later, i just noticed that she called and text me to ask where we were. and her hp batt was dying. so i text her that we gonna wait for her at esprit. 5mins later, still she hadnt show up. i decided to text her again and the sms wasnt delivered. ok, her phone died. so we waited there and after 10mins, still, no sign of her. we went on our search-and-rescue mission all over the ground floor. nope, she wasnt there. we even asked the guards if they could announce her lost. ok klaka kot d situ. it's not like we've lost a 4 years old kid. we are talking about 24 yo sis! huaaa. siyes malu when we asked them and even worse when they couldnt do it. sigh. so we split. with sheila's suggestion, uyun went to the parking lot while i took care of the ground floor and first floor. and i asked her to stay put in case kakni passed by. so the hunt begun (ke began?). few mins later, i met with sheila again and called uyun for her status. and she said she found kakni (finally!). so what happened to her? she went searching all over the mall. she went to the places that we planned to go, twice, and after a tiring tour, she felt like crying and decided to just wait at the car. and gladly we did go there to check on her. and i asked her why didnt she call us using public phone? she said, no money. hayo, cannot ask 20 cent from others aa?
ok so here are some tips that i will recommend you to do in case you experience this situation in the future.
the one yang ilang:
- relax, dont panic. take a look of your surrounding and wait for few mins in case ur frens pass by you.
- if you have ur hp, call them la kn
- if you dont, find nearest public phone or pinjam hp org
- if you dont have any money, ask 20 cent from someone next to you. malaysians are not that kedekut kann
- if you dont remember ur frens' num (like my sis, sigh!), call up any of ur fren/family that have relation to ur fren. paham dok ayat nh? haha. then, ask the other fren/family to call to inform ur fren (yg same2 ilang tu) about your location
- if you are not capable to do any of these things (like my sis again!), just wait at the car park
- if you happen to come with public transport, just wait at the info centre.
- kalu x jumpe gak smpi mall tutup, siyes xpat den nk nolong eyhh
- relax gak, try call ir fren
- if ur fren doesnt bring her/his hp, try to stay put for awhile
- still can't find ur fren? go to info centre and if can, announce the missing
- if can't, wait at the centre of the mall. kan slalu ad bulat tgh2 tu kan?kot2 leh nampak kan
- still not? hayo, fine, try check on the last place you guys went together
- tak lagi? haaa tgu je la kt keta/public transport
- xjmpe gak? sowi, nh jela yg mampu cek tlg
